YES, IT’S UTTER
MADNESS!
OUR SATURDAY HEADLINERS REVEALED!
The new year is already rocking, so we just couldn’t wait any longer to unveil our incredible Saturday night headliners for Camp Bestival’slandmark tenth festi-holiday jamboree!
It’s going to be the family line-up of the year, with our Friday night headliner Mark Ronson, School of Rock the Musical, Holly Johnson, All Saints, Leftfield, Louisa Johnson, Skream, David Rodigan, the Bootleg Beatles, Mr Tumble, Dick and Dom, and the Tudors on Tour already announced, there’s still loads more fancy dress mayhem, music, theatre, family shows, fairground attractions, outdoor activities, poets, authors, comics and amazing food to be revealed for our Pop Stars and Rock Stars extravaganza this July 27-30 at Lulworth Castle!
In a fetching pair of Baggy Trousers, Rob da Bank says: “Madness have always been up there in terms of rocking UK bands but weirdly the last few years has seen them get even better live. I’ve had the pleasure of listening to their music for the past four decades, DJing for their House of Common festi, warming up for them at this very same festival a few years back and being chased round the campsite by Suggs in the middle of the night. These guys are dangerous and we can’t wait to get ‘em back for Camp Bestival”.
Truly one of the best rock or pop bands that Britain has ever seen, we are very pleased indeed to announce that Madness will be Saturday night headliners at our tenth birthday bash. With their critically acclaimed top five album, Can’t Touch Us Now, enjoying its ninth week on the official UK album chart, the nutty boys are in finest fettle and will take to the Castle Stage to treat the crowd to some full flavour party behaviour with their almost endless litany of classic pop, sing-along favourites and skanking wonders including Baggy Trousers, House of Fun, Wings of a Dove and many more. The very essence of good times, Madness will be unmissable on Saturday night at Camp Bestival!
We’ve got plenty more music, kids entertainment and family attractions to be announced, including one more headliner and lots more pop, rock and dance delights plus, seven arenas filled with amazing fun, delicious food & drink, relaxing therapies and top notch facilities catering for your family’s needs, so keep your eyes peeled for more info coming soon and keep checking www.campbestival.net and our Facebookand Twitter for all the latest info.
