Legendary pop Whitney Houston has been found dead in her hotel room in Beverly Hills the details surrounding her death are still unclear, its thought she may have drowned in her bathtub. The singer’s bodyguard found her and alerted paramedics who were unable to revive her and she she pronounced dead at 3.55pm yesterday afternoon.According to her official website, Houston sold more than 170 million albums, singles and videos, Whitney had returned to a movie set for “Sparkle,” a remake of the 1976 hit, which was loosely based on the story of The Supremes. It is scheduled be released nationwide in August, according to Sony Pictures. It was her first movie role since 1996′s “The Preacher’s Wife.”.her No. 1 hits in the 1980s, including “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” “The Greatest Love of All,” “Where Do Broken Hearts Go,” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).”her soundtrack to the 1992 movie “The Bodyguard” as one of the top 10 biggest-selling albums of all time. She also starred in the film with Kevin Costner. The soundtrack included the hit,”I Will Always Love You.

at the exclusive Cuckoo Club in London’s West End on 8th February, this year’s ceremony was one of the best,
with stars such as Alan Carr, Rob Brydon, Jimmy Carr and Jack Whitehall in attendance.

This year Jon Richardson fought off stiff competition from Al Murray, Jimmy Carr and Leigh Francis to win
the Funniest Man award and Alan Carr was crowned Best Stand-Up, adding another LAFTA to the cabinet no
doubt.

Top of the bill in the Funniest Woman category was Andi Osho, who received the award after a stellar year in
the spotlight. Loaded readers were also out in full force to lend their support to the repeatedly lauded Vic &
Bob, who won Best Double Act for the 4th year running.

Welcoming another name to the list of Loaded Legend greats, Rob Brydon was recognised for his outstanding
contribution to the industry, and joins the ranks of previous winners Jimmy Carr, Frank Skinner and Harry
Enfield.

Two of this year’s runaway TV successes were also honoured, with Leigh Francis’s unstoppable comedy vehicle
Celebrity Juice winning Best Panel Show, and the effortlessly cool Fresh Meat leading the way to a second
series, with a nod in the Funniest TV Show category.

Loaded LAFTAS veteran Jimmy Carr impressively walked away with another award this year for Funniest DVD,
but narrowly missed out on becoming top of the pun slingers as Tim Vine scooped the Best Joke award.

Well known for its laidback atmosphere this year’s awards was no different as nominees enjoyed flowing
wine and a menu selection of Beef Carpaccio, Charred King Crab and Salt Baked Celeriac to start; Wagyu Beef
Burgers, Seabass and Mushroom Risotto for main course; and Chocolate Ganache, Spiced Pear Tatin and a
selection of sorbets for dessert.

MOON NAZIS INVADE TEXAS, TRAILER HITS MAGICAL MILLION IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS South by Southwest picks Iron Sky for Midnight program, while the new trailer reaches over 1 million views in just under 24 hours! Iron Sky, a science fiction comedy about the return of the Nazis who fled to the Dark Side of the Moon, will be first seen in the United States at the South by Southwest Film Festival, where the film has been chosen as part of the Midnight program. Although a US distribution deal is not yet in place, the producer Tero Kaukomaa is hoping to close one soon – negotiations are under way. “Opening the film at South by Southwest in US is a perfect match for Iron Sky”, says producer Kaukomaa. “The film soars to new frontiers with the production methods we’ve used. We have gathered over 1 million dollars from our fans as part of the 10 million dollar budget, and the creative collaboration process behind the production with the fans has been a real pioneer experience.” Using social media, the film has reached an audience of millions with practically no marketing budget. The filmmakers have included the community in the financing as well as the creative process. “But it’s not just that. The film is damn good, and looks like a hundred million dollars”, Kaukomaa adds. Interest in the film is growing rapidly. The theatrical trailer, which was released on Wednesday, received over 1 million views in under 24 hours, a record-breaking amount, and was featured in major publications like Wired and BoingBoing and even made it’s way to the front page of YouTube. “I have to say, I’m amazed how far and wide the word of Iron Sky has spread”, says director Timo Vuorensola. “The little funny film we came up with sitting in a Sauna six years ago has become quite a phenomenon worldwide.” The film is having it’s international premiere in just few days at Berlin International Film Festival, at Panorama Special selection, on 11th of February. “Yes, I’m scared”, admits the director. “All of the work, the love and the care we’ve put into this film boils down to this premiere on Saturday. But I’m confident everything will go well; the film is good, really fun and looks gorgeous.”

EATT, or Eat At The Table, is aimed to give homeless young people from Centrepoint’s Soho hostels the opportunity to come and tuck into delicious, warm fish and chips served up by Golden Union. Not only does Billy Drew, the owner of the establishment, believe that Britain’s favourite meal should be served in a relaxed, authentic atmosphere, but he also believes fish and chips should never break the bank. Kiran James, 23, was one of the young people who came along. He commented, “It is such a great event and nice to be able to enjoy some quality food in a restaurant amongst friends. Rachel [Stevens] was really nice and had a little chat with us while we enjoyed our fish and chips!”. The event was a huge success, and Rachel, Aldo, and Jessica-Jane had a great time donning their aprons and serving up some fish, chips, pies, and sausages, to the lovely Centrepoint young people, who all raved about the quality of Golden Union’s offerings. The guests were offered a sizable menu to choose from, as well as a drinks selection and sides. Among the favourites were the cod and haddock, as well as the saveloy sausages and of course, the chips and milkshakes. “We are really excited to be part of this project for the third time. Homeless young people are like anyone else. Centrepoint support over 1,200 16-25 year olds every year and though they may have had a tougher time than others, they deserve to be treated with the same respect. Eat At The Table does this and looks to spread good past the festive season,” shares John Raynham, Head of Fundraising at Centrepoint. “EATT was one of our most popular events last year, and one that really made a difference to the community around us. We’re so pleased to be able to give the homeless a chance to dine at the table again, especially during this cold winter,” noted Kerry, co-owner of Golden Union. Golden Union was proud to be able to offer some homeless Londoners a warm dinner on one of the coldest nights of the year. The famous chippy is located on 38 Poland Street in Soho, and offers traditional favourites cooked to order.

There was some chatter amongst the Centrepoint young people about a reunion of S-Club 7. When Rachel Stevens was asked by one of the youths if the band had any plans to get back together she smiled and said she couldn’t comment and that they would “have to wait and see!” with a wink. When S Club Party was played, some of the young people from Centrepoint danced and pointed at Rachel who laughed and pretended to mime the words.
When ‘The Real Hustle’ and ‘Jungle’ star Jessica-Jane Clement even got some cooking tips from Michelin Star Chef, Aldo Zilli, who was more than happy to get to know all of the celebrities, as well as the young people. Downton Abbey’s Allen Leech seemed to enjoy getting stuck into serving up the nation’s favourite food too.

Rachel Stevens: “I’ve always wanted to do something like this before, where you can really give something back to the community. It’s a fantastic cause.”
Jessica-Jane Clement: “It’s so nice to be able to be a part of this charity event. Centrepoint is a brilliant charity and it’s nice to be able to serve fish and chips from Golden Union; it’s one of my favourite foods and it’s gone down so well with everyone!”.
Aldo Zilli: “I’m having a great time and it’s nice to see the smiles on everyone’s faces and serving nice warm food on what’s got to be the coldest night of the year.”

The Madonna 2012 World Tour begins May 29^th 2012 in Tel Aviv, Israel, it was officially announced by Live Nation Entertainment, the tour’s international promoter. The shows will include arenas, stadiums and special outdoor sites including the Plains of Abraham in Quebec and a return visit to South America and Australia where she has not performed in 20 years. The tour will stop in 26 European cities including London, Edinburgh, Paris, Milan and Berlin.
